My homemade charcuterie boards are always a fan-favorite when I host guests or go to a friend’s house. Over the years I’ve created some spectacular boards filled with rich cheeses, savory salami, crispy crackers, and more goodies.
My love for charcuterie boards began while I was living in France and started learning about how cheese was made, especially by region. After I returned to the US, I continued my passion as an amateur charcuterie connoisseur.
While the ingredients that go on top of a charcuterie board are crucial, the base of your creation is equally important. For aesthetic and functionality reasons, I have developed a strong preference for certain wood and slate charcuterie and serving trays.
